- Secure your Network and Email Services. Secure all network devices and any device connected to WiFi. These devices should be patched and updated frequently. This includes “Internet of things” devices with embedded operating systems. Examples of “IoT” devices include CCTV systems, wearables, echo dots, etc. These OEM hardware devices should have default passwords updated and security updates applied regularly.
- Secure your company website. Create strong administrator passwords, update plugins and themes. Follow your hosting companies recommendations for securing your website.
